Privacy Statement

This is a courtesy translation of the Dutch privacy statement. In the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
Inez Interior Design, the sole proprietorship of Inez Kuiper, based in Muiden, the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement.
1. What data I process, and why
I only process the personal data that is necessary for my services, or that you provide to me yourself.
1.1 Contact form
When you fill in the contact form on my website, I process: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the content of your message. Purpose: responding to your enquiry and, if you subsequently become a client, preparing the assignment. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and once an agreement is concluded, the performance of that agreement.
1.2 Scheduling an introductory call
When you schedule an introductory call through my website, TidyCal processes the data you enter: your name, email address, and the chosen time slot. Purpose: scheduling and confirming the appointment. Legal basis: taking steps prior to entering into a possible agreement.
1.3 Client data during and after an assignment
If you become a client, I additionally process: address details, billing details, and data needed to carry out the design, such as measurements and wishes for the space. Purpose: performing the agreement and meeting my administrative and tax obligations. Legal basis: performance of the agreement and legal obligation.
1.4 Website visits
I use Google Analytics to understand how my website is used, so I can improve the site. This only happens after you have given consent via the cookie notice on the website. Legal basis: consent. See article 3 for more information.
2. Special and/or sensitive personal data
My website does not intend to collect data from visitors under the age of 16. If you suspect that I have collected data from a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian, please contact me at inez@inezinteriordesign.com and I will delete this data.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
My website uses the following types of cookies.
Functional cookies: required for the website to work properly. No consent is needed for these.
Analytical cookies (Google Analytics): I use these to measure visitor numbers and how the website is used. These cookies are only placed after you have given consent via the cookie notice. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
TidyCal: the scheduler on the Contact page only loads once you open it yourself. If you do, TidyCal may place technical cookies to make the scheduling work.
I do not use cookies for advertising or to track your behaviour on other websites.
4. Sharing data with third parties
I only share your data with parties involved in my services, and never for those parties' own commercial purposes. Currently these are:
- TidyCal / Sumo Group Inc. (scheduling tool, United States; data processing agreement and transfers based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses)
- Resend (delivery of the email sent from the contact form, United States)
- Google Analytics / Google LLC (website statistics, United States, EU-US Data Privacy Framework)
- Knab (accounting and invoicing, the Netherlands)
- Vercel (website hosting, servers in the EU)
- Strato (domain name and email, the Netherlands)
Where applicable, data processing agreements have been concluded with these parties or their own terms apply. I never sell your data to third parties.
5. How long I keep data

6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or have your personal data deleted. You also have the right to withdraw previously given consent, to object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. You can send a request to inez@inezinteriordesign.com. I will respond within four weeks.
If you disagree with the way I handle your data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
7. Automated decision-making
I do not make decisions that could significantly affect you based solely on automated processing.
8. Security
I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. If you nevertheless have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or if there are indications of misuse, please contact me at inez@inezinteriordesign.com.
9. Changes to this privacy statement
I may amend this privacy statement from time to time. The most recent version can always be found on this page.
